A quantitative research study was aimed to assess knowledge regarding Nurse Practitioner Course among 49 Nursing students from III year BSc Nursing at Holy Cross College of Nursing, Kottiam, Kollam. The objectives of the study were to assess the knowledge scores regarding nurse practitioner course among nursing students, to evaluate the effectiveness of online teaching strategy on knowledge scores regarding nurse practitioner course among nursing students and to find out the association between online pretest knowledge scores regarding nurse practitioner course among nursing students with selected socio demographic variables. A quantitative approach was used to determine the effectiveness of online teaching strategy on knowledge regarding nurse practitioner course in nursing students in selected nursing college. The research design adopted for the present was pre-experimental one group pretest - posttest design. The study was conducted during the period of COVID 19 so investigator had collected the data through online medium. Online pretest was conducted by using structured knowledge questionnaire followed by administration of online teaching strategy. Online post-test was conducted after 7 days by using same Structured questionnaire. The average scores of knowledge before and after online teaching strategy in the subjects were 9.78 and 15.20 respectively. The Paired t test statistics (t = 6.09, table value = 2.011; t value greater than table value) shows that increase in the scores of knowledge as a result of the Online Teaching Strategy is statistically significant at 0.05 level (p<0.05). The Online Teaching Strategy was effective intervention in increasing the level of knowledge regarding Nurse Practitioner Course among Nursing students.
